Rivet Nuts
Rivet nuts, also known as blind rivet nuts or threaded inserts, are fastening solutions designed to create strong, reusable internal threads in thin materials or hollow sections where access is available from only one side. Once installed using a rivet nut tool, the body collapses and grips the base material securely, forming a permanent threaded anchor.
Rivet nuts are ideal for sheet metal, tubes, profiles, plastics, and composite materials, eliminating the need for tapping, welding, or backside access. They are widely used in automotive assemblies, electrical enclosures, furniture, appliances, HVAC systems, and general industrial fabrication.
Available in multiple body styles such as round, hex, ribbed, and knurled, along with open-end or closed-end designs and various flange types, rivet nuts offer excellent pull-out strength, vibration resistance, and long-term durability. A wide choice of materials and surface finishes ensures compatibility with different environments and load requirements.
